What it is

This is a high-performance diagnostics and programming cable, designed to connect a Windows-based diagnostics application with your Fisker Ocean’s on-board computer systems. It enables advanced diagnostics, software updates, and ECU programming - essential for maintaining and optimizing your vehicle’s performance.

The cable features a direct, wired connection for maximum reliability: one end plugs into your Ocean’s OBD port (located in the driver’s footwell), and the other connects to your Windows laptop. This cable is for Ocean owners who require in-depth diagnostics or programming of electronic control units (ECUs). If your authorized service technician or Fisker specialist recommends a remote diagnostics session using a "VCI cable," this is the exact tool you need to facilitate the process.

How it works

Using this cable, your Ocean communicates directly with diagnostic software on a Windows laptop, allowing a service provider to perform remote diagnostics or updates. To ensure a smooth session, make sure you have the following ready:

• A stable, high-speed internet connection.
• A Windows laptop (Windows 10 or later) with an available USB-A port. If your laptop only has USB-C, you’ll need a USB-A to USB-C adapter.

Your service provider will guide you through the connection and setup process, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.

Terms & Pricing

The rental period is two weeks, starting from the day you receive the cable and ending when the return shipment is confirmed in transit back to Tidal Wave.

Important: Schedule your service appointment before renting the cable to avoid delays, as technician availability may vary.

This rental includes:

• A €400 security deposit (ex. VAT), fully refundable upon return of the cable in good condition. Any repair or replacement costs will be deducted based on the inspection of the returned item.
• Free return shipping - simply reuse the original packaging materials.

The cable ships from Denmark (within the EU). If you’re located outside the EU, please account for potential customs delays. While we strive to minimize tariffs and duties, you are responsible for any import fees incurred in your country.
